In Any Event UK worked with a leading law firm for over 8 years before being contracted as the outsourced provider of all the Learning & Development Administration, managing all the internal and external administration work.
Type of events

Our client holds many different events varying from small internal workshops to large scale external conferences. All of the events have very specific requirements and work within tight budget restraints. In Any Event UK also brought forward the concept of combining the event management of the events with complete management of the training and development department administration requirements.

The Challenge

Our objective is to provide a solution to successfully integrate the event management and administration within the training and development department with the overall administration of the department. The process was required to create one point of contact for all the training and development enquiries to go through and provide a seamless service throughout. Obviously with such an innovative new way of working, some of the departments were hesitant. However once we met with all the departments and ran through the procedures all departments gave the partnership their full support.

The Solution

Through our suggestions it was decided that the solution was for us to take over all of the training and development administration management and provide the service of meeting the different departments training requirements. The approach we took when planning how the partnership would work was very much communication based as we felt it was vital to meet with the different departments and gain an understanding of how they are currently working and how this can be improved upon. Through this information, we now offer the following services for the legal firm:

  • Book all internal meetings using their office meeting rooms.
  • Manage all external venue sourcing, AV requirements and any other entertainment or supplier requirements.
  • Produce event documents for all the events, these include: Activity schedules, budgets, requirement forms, joining instructions, delegate lists and evaluation forms.
  • Liase with all the speakers/presenters and gather their event requirements
  • Provide a dedicated telephone line to answer any enquiry
  • Provide a dedicated email address for sending/receiving correspondence.
  • Produce budgets and manage these for the individual departments and the events that fall within these.
  • Offer onsite assistance for all events when required and post event debriefs.

The Results

In Any Event UK have now successfully integrated themselves within the firm and have now become the first point of contact for any training enquiry.
