Working in partnership with Sensei International to bring together senior managers from a global organisation. The primary objective was to discuss how to take the company to the next level and how to communicate and implement these aims between themselves and their teams. The event concept is to create a 3-day leadership journey for participants incorporating team orientated activities and opportunities for management discussion. Participants are taken to various unusual venues to inspire fresh and forward thinking.
They are transported to these locations using a variety of different transport methods including boats, bikes, canoes and hiking. The accommodation used also develops throughout the journey starting off in very basic and rustic shared accommodation on the first night and finishing in a luxury hotel for the final nught. This symbolises the way the team and their ideas develop from basic concepts to the finish article.
We work with Sensei International to put together the event programme. This includes sourcing all the venues, activities, transport and accommodation to be used through the duration of the event. It also includes working out the timings per activity and the transfer times between locations. The activities we organised include horse riding, bull herding/branding, pottery workshops, canoeing and hiking.
We liaised with all suppliers throughout the event build up and conducted extensive site visits to ensure all venues were suitable for the event and to prepare written directions. With the event requiring an extremely bespoke set of requirements for the suppliers, onsite logistical support for the event was also a key aspect of our involvement. This enabled us to ensure all the venues were fully prepared for the group and their requirements were fully adhered to, while also ensuring that all the participants were successfully transported between the locations.
